10/21/07: On "The Honeymooners," we learned that,
although a husband sometimes felt like punching
his wife "Pow! Right in the kisser!," he must
exercise self-control. Jackie Gleason was Ralph
Kramden; Audrey Meadows, his wife Alice. Art
Carney was Ed Norton; Joyce Randolph, his wife
Trixie. (Some years the wives were played by
others.)
