| 1960: Dewey gets his! Second Home Page How many of you have said, "Be careful! You'll break your camera!"? Well, Dewey did it! The photographer's camera really malfunctioned, and Dewey's grin just got bigger and bigger as everyone laughed. |

Nov., 2006. Judy PS emailed me (Jan) a chain letter. I wrote back
that I'd prefer creating our own chain letter made up of classmate
news. She said, "Good idea!" and provided the email addresses
she had for our class. We started the chain email with messages
from each of us, including current photos.
We saw that, even with just our own two messages, an email
chain letter would become unwieldy. I put a link, "My School," on
the Home Page of my Yahoo website for my English as a Second
Language Class.
Feb. 22, 2007. Judy and I both sent emails inviting classmates to
send messages to the class and photos to be included on the
website. Janean sent a photo right away, with kind words of
support and a promise to write later. Dewey was the first BHS
classmate to send both a message and photo. Judy and I
scanned the printed photos we had from class reunions, and I
put them on the web. She sent names of Classmates We Miss,
and I created that page.
Mar. 3, 2007. Gary, Beerwinkle, Rob, Shirlene, and Walt have
responded. Billy Wilbanks gave permission to link to his Athletic
Hall of Honor website. Dewey suggested putting dates on
Classmates We Miss, and Judy researched and provided them.
Mar. 20, 2007. Lynn came on board. Cecelia is found! Dewey led
us to Ira Kennedy's website, www.texfiles.com. Excellent work!

It also had pages of us in our caps and gowns, Classmates We Miss, Favorite Teachers, and links to music of our era and jokes from Dewey, and a link to the Belton High Athletic Hall of Honor. |
